NORTH READING — The Transportation Committee submitted one grant application and is pursuing another for service expansion. The Deborah Munroe Noonan Fund application was sent May 1 for the Rides Together Program; the Robert J. Mullen Fund application is in progress.
Jackie Quinn was named Director of Senior Center. The committee met with MBTA representative Mike Smith about The Ride program, currently lacking an adoption procedure, and assigned Diane Norris to contact Adam Kamoune with implementation questions while planning follow-up on costs.
