CPC Votes to Remove Shay Lane Article from Warrant

North Reading's Community Planning Commission voted 4-0 to request removal of the Shay Lane article from the June warrant.

DocumentCenter · Meeting of May 4, 2026

North Reading's Community Planning Commission voted 4-0 to request removal of the Shay Lane article from the June warrant. The CPC determined the street was not ready for acceptance due to outstanding ADA compliance issues, including sidewalk and driveway concerns and a lack of developer David Murray's communication on remediation plans. The commission agreed to delay the decision until the next Town Meeting to allow further collaboration.

Danielle McKnight, Town Planner, was directed to notify the Town Administrator before the Select Board's meeting that evening.
