NORTH READING — A fire station building committee voted unanimously to recommend two Main Street sites for warrant articles to June Town Meeting. The committee reviewed test fit drawings for three potential locations: 73/75 Main Street, which would accommodate a two-story headquarters with 71 total parking spaces and met the full program need; 84/86 Main Street, which could support various configurations from substation to headquarters; and 97 Main Street, where owner discussions were ongoing. Chief Don Stats made the motion, seconded by Mr.
Nick Masse, to recommend the Select Board submit warrant articles for 73/75 and 84/86, which passed unanimously.
