NORTH READING — Select Board unanimously approved a year-round operating license for TCC Grill on Mid Iron Drive. Chris Young, general manager, explained the change would maintain year-round staffing, allow Thursday-through-Sunday off-season operation, and reduce seasonal layoffs; Town Administrator Michael Gilleberto noted it reduces available all-alcohol licenses from six to five. The board also set 2026 Annual Town Meetings for June 1 (spring) and October 5 (fall) at the school gymnasium, and unanimously approved a $14,000 donation of two privacy study pods from Friends of Flint Memorial Library.

During budget presentations, the town reported a projected fiscal 2027 deficit of approximately $760,687.
