Elm Street Paving Detour Extends Into Weekend and Monday
The town's ongoing Route 62/Elm Street paving project will continue through today, tomorrow and Monday, according to an updated notice from the town, extending a detour that has snarled traffic for days.
TOWN HALL
The Town of North Reading issued an updated alert Thursday morning confirming that paving and detour work on Route 62/Elm Street will run today, tomorrow, and again on Monday. The update extends a project that residents have already navigated for several days, and drivers should continue to expect delays and altered routes through the start of next week. Residents can find detour maps and updates through the town's CivicAlerts page.
The town also continues to point residents toward its "Smart911" alert sign-up as a way to stay current on paving updates, weather notices, and other emergency communications.
