North Reading Parks and Recreation reminds residents that its Spring 2026 program brochure is posted and that permits are required for organized use of town parks and fields.

NORTH READING -- The North Reading Parks and Recreation Department says its Spring 2026 brochure is now available, with registration for department activities open online. Residents without an existing account with the department can open one to receive notification email blasts about programs.

TOWN -- The department is reiterating its permit policy for use of town parks and school athletic facilities. Anyone seeking exclusive use of a park or school facility, including photographers, must obtain a permit, and any organized or regular use by a group of 10 or more, or any fee-based program, requires a permit in advance. Residents interested in reserving space are directed to call the Parks and Recreation Department at 978-357-5216. The department also notes that the Arthur J. Kenney turf field and other school facilities, including the track and tennis courts, are not available to the community during the school day or during school athletics in the afternoon.
